You can never go wrong with a classic! These wood-fired Buffalo Chicken Wings are seasoned, grilled, then tossed in a traditional homemade buffalo sauce made right on the grill. The wings end up crispy and slightly charred on the outside, while still moist and juicy on the inside. We recommend using a wing rack to avoid flare-ups and any skin sticking to the grates.

Ingredients

  • Blue Cheese Dip
  • 2/3 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • Celery
  • 2 Lbs Chicken Wings

Special Tools

  • Baking Sheet
  • Basting Brush
  • Large heat-safe bowl

Directions

  1. Fire up your Pit Boss and preheat to 450°F. If using a gas or charcoal grill, set heat to high heat.
  1. Rub wings generously with Pit Boss Sweet Heat Rub and transfer to wing rack.
  1. Place rack on grill and cook for 20 minutes, rotating after 10 minutes.
  1. Baste with sauce, then cover and grill an additional 5 to 7 minutes. Note your cooking time will vary depending on the size of the wings. When done, wings should have an internal temperature of 165°F.
  1. Remove wings from grill and transfer to a baking sheet and let rest for about 5 minutes.
  1. Transfer wings to a large bowl and coat with the Buffalo Sauce. Shake the bowl around gently to combine or use a spatula to ensure every wing is coated.
  1. Serve hot with extra sauce, celery, and bleu cheese dip.
